How it works

  1. Tell us about them. Names, who is who, the town, what they love, what to leave out. About ten minutes.
  2. Our AI writes the novel. It outlines the whole book, writes it chapter by chapter, and runs every chapter past an AI editor and a continuity checker that track every name, place, and plot thread.
  3. Software checks it, then we send it. Before delivery, automated checks confirm the length, the spelling of every name, and that nothing on your leave-it-out list appears. You get a PDF and an ePub in 48–72 hours.

Chapter 1: Volume Probation

Maya Okafor took the last block to Fiddler Marsh Elementary at full speed, which was the only speed her skateboard had.

She popped the board over the slab the magnolia root had shoved up like a ramp. Her backpack thumped her spine. The nose, scuffed white from a thousand curb kisses, clacked back down, and the blue crab sticker on the deck flashed between her sneakers.

"NO FAIR," Junie yelled behind her. "YOU HAVE WHEELS."

Junie had frog rain boots, green, with bulgy eyes on the toes. She wore them every day of the year, and today the sky was so clean and blue it looked freshly washed. Clomp, clomp, clomp. Junie said rain boots were for being ready.

Behind Junie came Dad, reading glasses parked on his head, and behind Dad came Biscuit at the end of its red leash. Biscuit was an old beagle with a gray muzzle. It walked like a mayor inspecting a parade, slowly, with opinions about every mailbox.

Then an ambulance came screaming up Coleman Boulevard.

Biscuit stopped. Biscuit planted all four feet. Biscuit threw back its head and let go.

"Ah-ROOOOOOOO."

It was long and mournful and completely sincere, as if the ambulance had hurt its feelings on purpose.

"Ah-ah! Biscuit, it is not calling you," Dad said.

"BISCUIT, CODE RED," Junie announced, and howled too, to keep it company.

Maya didn't howl. Maya was busy noticing, which happened to her the way hiccups happened to other people. Her brain had already filed:

One: a brand-new pothole by the crosswalk, shaped exactly like Ohio.

Two: Mr. Ashby, the crossing guard, had a new whistle. It was orange and the size of a pickle, which was the last thing on earth Mr. Ashby needed.

Three: his name badge still said C. ASHBY. She had read that badge about four hundred times.

"HOLD IT!" Mr. Ashby bellowed, flinging up his stop sign at a minivan, a kid on a scooter, and a squirrel, in that order. The squirrel held it.

Maya kicked her board into her hand and walked Junie across. Four through seven: a first-grade stampede, a kid crying about a water bottle, a gull with a stolen french fry, a minivan with a dent like a thumbprint.

The lobby smelled like floor wax and sunscreen and, right at the door, bananas.

Questions

How long is the book, and what does it cost?

A novella runs about 30,000 words (about 122 printed pages) for $39; A novel runs about 40,000 words (about 163 printed pages) for $49; A long novel runs about 60,000 words (about 245 printed pages) for $69. School Adventure comes as a novella or novel; thrillers and romances come in all three lengths. Every book comes as both a PDF and an ePub. That is a real novel, not a booklet.

Who writes it?

AI models write it, guided by your answers. An AI editor reviews each chapter and sends it back for revision until it passes, and automated checks run before delivery. No human author is involved, and we never say otherwise.

When do I get it?

In 48–72 hours, by email, with a download link. If we miss 72 hours, you can have a full refund.

What if a name is wrong or something I asked to leave out shows up?

Tell us within 14 days. We fix it and resend, or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

Why does my receipt say Link?

Stripe sells the book to you as merchant of record through its Link service: it runs checkout, handles any tax, and sends your receipt, so your card statement shows LINK.COM* and our name. We write and deliver the book, and you can write to us about anything.

Can I print it?

Yes. The PDF is laid out as a 6×9 inch book with page numbers, ready for home printing or a print shop. A printed hardcover option is planned.

Who owns the book?

Text written by AI generally cannot be copyrighted in the United States, so there is nothing for us to "transfer". We assert no copyright in your book: use it, print it, and share it without restriction.

Is it safe to include my child’s name?

Yes, with care: we ask only for a first name, an age, and interests. Never photos, addresses, or school records. We invent every teacher and staff member, and we delete your answers and the book 30 days after delivery.
